We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist to help our clients manage the company’s payroll processes and provide support in recruitment and employee relations.
- Process weekly payroll while ensuring precise time tracking and accurate pay calculations.
- Reconcile payroll and billing records to uphold financial accuracy.
- Address client billing inquiries by providing clear explanations and resolving any discrepancies.
- Communicate with caregivers to resolve payroll issues, including missing hours and other compensation concerns.
- Prepare financial reports, such as payroll summaries, billing statements, and expense tracking records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align payroll and financial procedures with company policies.
- Maintain detailed records of workers’ compensation and insurance transactions.
- Ensure adherence to company financial procedures and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- College educated (accounting-related course is preferred)
- Candidates must provide either an NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (preferred) upon hiring
- Must be comfortable with using Hubstaff, a time-tracking application
- Professional-level English (written and verbal/voice)
- At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including V-Lookup)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop preferred)
- Experience using payroll software (ADP is preferred but not required)
- Experience using any Customer Relationship Management tool is a plus
- Computer or laptop with access to the internet (min speed of 25 Mbps)
