Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist to help our clients manage the company’s payroll processes and provide support in recruitment and employee relations.

  • Process weekly payroll while ensuring precise time tracking and accurate pay calculations.
  • Reconcile payroll and billing records to uphold financial accuracy.
  • Address client billing inquiries by providing clear explanations and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Communicate with caregivers to resolve payroll issues, including missing hours and other compensation concerns.
  • Prepare financial reports, such as payroll summaries, billing statements, and expense tracking records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align payroll and financial procedures with company policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of workers’ compensation and insurance transactions.
  • Ensure adherence to company financial procedures and reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • College educated (accounting-related course is preferred)
  • Candidates must provide either an NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (preferred) upon hiring
  • Must be comfortable with using Hubstaff, a time-tracking application
  • Professional-level English (written and verbal/voice)
  • At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including V-Lookup)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop preferred)
  • Experience using payroll software (ADP is preferred but not required)
  • Experience using any Customer Relationship Management tool is a plus
  • Computer or laptop with access to the internet (min speed of 25 Mbps)
