Job Description
As part of the Vendor Management Department, your primary role will be to support the team in sourcing and managing localization resources and expanding our network by language and subject matter expertise.
- Recruitment: Sourcing new freelance linguist candidates via online communities, job ads, and screening processes.
- Testing: Coordinating linguistic assessments for qualified candidates.
- Rate Negotiation: Handling initial rate discussions with successful candidates and tracking their onboarding progress.
- Vendor Placement: Assigning the best-qualified vendors for projects within budget and timelines.
- Cost Research: Conducting research on linguistic vendor costs when required, ensuring competitive and appropriate rates for specific projects.
- Issue Resolution: Managing vendor-related concerns and issues.
- Database Management: Maintaining vendor information (availability, expertise, test results, negotiation history).
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking and recording vendor performance across various projects.
- Additional duties as required.
